What is a study programme?

A study programme is a 12-week course to give you essential job skills, free careers advice and valuable work experience in a role you’re interested in.

Study programmes are courses designed to fast track young people into an apprenticeship. Over 12 weeks, learners learn the basic foundations needed to start an apprenticeship when the course is finished. We can also support you with Maths and English if you need it.

A study programme with The Learning Foundry is not like school or college. Everything you learn is relevant to the world of work – not like your average college course. From day one, we’ll be prepping you with activities to boost your employability – from teamwork exercises, mock interviews and communication development. All the skills you need to succeed.

It’s not about sitting in a classroom, it’s all about getting out and about putting your skills and knowledge into practice. Whether you’re looking for what to do after your GCSEs or considering your options, a study programme could be right for you.
